I have a question for the sinners amongst us. You know that gun brand that we won't mention? They made a model called the 17 and its first generation featured what type of slide finish? Were they all parkerized or ?
I have only seen two that I recall the slide finish for sure. One seemed to be parked and the other had a clearly non-factory gloss finish.
I will re-post after you retired people have had your second nap of the day. This question is too deep for 10:25 in the morning !

"Starship just experienced what we call a rapid, unscheduled disassembly," said John Insprucker, SpaceX's principal integration engineer.

This was the result of my first attempt to make coffee today. I forgot an important step in the process.
You know that you are getting old when you need to remind yourself to use coffee to make coffee

They did treat the metal with Tenifer back then before changing to Melonite in order to save the world from the environmental dangers of the Tenifer process. Wasn't sure if they finished the slides after the treatment?Melonite?

My work is done for today.
Friday night, there will be a mushroom fest that my wife and I always look forward to.
It's the one time of the year (BBQ excluded) that I cook.

You must keep it segregated from the rest of you guns..I just want to openly apologize to Churchmouse for what I bought today. I know he would be disappointed in me but I will try to make it up by buying a muzzle break for an SBR AR or something. If I do shoot "it", I promise to wear gloves and I will keep it away from the 1911s.
There is a shelf labeled Taurus, Charter Arms, SAR, G****, Suppressors and External Extractor 1911s.You must keep it segregated from the rest of you guns..
I don't even know who you are anymore. There is a shelf labeled Taurus, Charter Arms, SAR, G****, Suppressors and External Extractor 1911s.
