I remember the blazing fast 8mhz machine I had at home with dual floppies that had a button you could press that supposedly clocked the CPU up to 12mhz. I don't think that button did anything but turned that light on.The computers at School were 8086s. My computer at home was a cutting edge 386. The classes were business computers classes. No one told me I could make money from my hobby. I didn't figure that out till the year after I graduated.
Decaf? This was the result of my first attempt to make coffee today. I forgot an important step in the process.
You know that you are getting old when you need to remind yourself to use coffee to make coffee
Was the 1st gen not Tenifer finished? I didn't think there was a finish applied on top of that, but could be wrong. Sorry, late to the thread today.I have a question for the sinners amongst us. You know that gun brand that we won't mention? They made a model called the 17 and its first generation featured what type of slide finish? Were they all parkerized or ?
I have only seen two that I recall the slide finish for sure. One seemed to be parked and the other had a clearly non-factory gloss finish.
I don't even know who you are anymore.
I think you need to explain just exactly were you searching when that came upon your screen?
I just want to openly apologize to Churchmouse for what I bought today. I know he would be disappointed in me but I will try to make it up by buying a muzzle break for an SBR AR or something. If I do shoot "it", I promise to wear gloves and I will keep it away from the 1911s.
There is a shelf labeled Taurus, Charter Arms, SAR, G****, Suppressors and External Extractor 1911s.
This is true! LOLI think you need to explain just exactly were you searching when that came upon your screen?

It still needs to be hermetically sealed in a tupperware box so they don’t touch! There is a shelf labeled Taurus, Charter Arms, SAR, G****, Suppressors and External Extractor 1911s.
I promise to employ all possible risk mitigation procedures. It still needs to be hermetically sealed in a tupperware box so they don’t touch!
More than welcome to shoot mine at the next event, as well.So took the 97 to the range today and ran 50 rounds through it. 100% reliable and more accurate than I am. Not really happy with the mag release it's too small and besides the mags aren't dropping free. I want to shoot B2V's 97 so I can get an idea of what I want to do to it.

They got up to 39KM before the R.U.D."Starship just experienced what we call a rapid, unscheduled disassembly," said John Insprucker, SpaceX's principal integration engineer.
