Yes, it is legal. But I'll ask you, as a conservative, how do you feel about people making business decisions, that ultimately fail, that they write off, essentially "stiffing" another party?

Risk is inherent in business, just like everything else in life. I'm sure Warren Buffett, George Sorts ET AL have lost TONS of money. Could the system handle failure better? Absolutely.

I know you have mentioned reading books, Kut. Nassim Nicholas Taleb has written a few about economics, the market, and "skin in the game" as it were. Good reads...

These are companies that obummer gave money and then they filed for bankruptcy. It is all tax money. These were the ones that failed as of 2012. There could easily be more by now.
