"More successful than any before?" Man, you are a true believer. I think in order for you question to ever be consider factual, in a historical sense, he's going to need one hell of a popularity bump. I won't weigh in on the merits of your belief, but I will say, that with partisanship the way it is, we will probably not see a overwhelming belief of what makes a president successful.

They need to address the tariff issue, which HAS been proposed but not accepted by others as a good idea. A global economy is not (in and of itself) a bad thing.

I'd say that by 5 years after he is out of office the media will move onto the next target of their ire, and his image will start to be rehabilitated.
