Just starting to reload my first rifle rounds. 223/5.56. The AR is on it's way.
I'm fairly new to reloading. Started out with 9mm, finally stopped at 3k rounds. After I bought the 1911 I started reloading 45 and currently have done about 2k rounds. I have a thousand 223/5.56 cases and have half of them cleaned, inspected, de-primed and sized. Waiting on the primer pocket swager to arrive so I can move to the next step. This rifle cartridge reloading is a lot more involved than pistol cartridge reloading! Took me a couple of broken de-priming pins to figure out SAR 20 cases have a miniscule flash hole. Fortunately there were only about 10 in the 500 I am working and they went into the junk brass can. I'm really enjoying reloading and can't wait to get the AR and burn some powder.
Started yesterday on 1500 223s. I got 150 done so far. Its slow going because the brass has crimped primer pockets. Its still fun and I will be busy a while

Local reloading shop going out of business bought 4 boxes of 1,000 berry's 180 grain bullets for 50 per box, so i believe i will be loading 40 and 10 mm real soon
