What are your opinions regarding secession?
You really need to lay off of the hard tack, Jeb.

    :):

I'm not going off the rails discussing the internal matters of a nation, since the topic is one nation invading another. We wouldn't be having this discussion if Russia was putting down a rebellion in Siberia.

The united states are not one nation.

You may understand my point of sovereign states better than you know.

Is it just me, or am I seeing a trend where those that are (at least somewhat) on the ACAB bandwagon also tend to support Russia and blame the U.S. and NATO for what's going on in Ukraine? I know that correlation does not equal causation, but it seems interesting...

My observation is the dividing line is, like a lot of things, whether you believe what the TV news tells you or not. If you do, you change your profile picture to the Ukraine flag and sing praise to The Current Thing. If you don't, you...uh, get banned on social media.

Anti-war has never mapped perfectly onto the left/right divide. There's people who support cops and war because they want to see moral authority exercised, there are people who hate cops and support war because TV told them cops are racist and Russia is evil, and there are people who hate both on both sides because they're both authority being applied.

I'd love to hear what you think is happening that justifies the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the attendant rape and murder of its citizens.

The CIA funded maidenhead revolt of 2014 that started this chain of dominos killed 18 cops. The maidenhead revolt put the current government in power.

So do we support the police unquestioningly? Do we support Russia? Do you support Ukraine? Do we support nazis? Do we support the current administrations spending our money to give away weapons to militias that you and I aren’t allowed to have? Do we support the return of Cold War brinksmanship that may end the entire world in a nuclear war? Do we support biological weapons labs being setup in foreign countries with US money and support?

The issue is far more complex than Russia bad Ukraine good. To claim that it isn’t is disingenuous.

Ark is right, support the current agenda or get canceled. No critical thinking allowed. The ministry of truth will be along shortly to clarify how you should think.

Boris: Tactical Battle Donkey! Volody is the MacGyver of Ukraine Yuri.

Yuri: I don't know Boris, I think Volody peaked with twin-Maxims mounted on BMW technical vehicle.

Boris: Volody does work alone now. His apprentices all joined fighters with yellow armbands.

Yuri: Didn't President Z send him two helpers?

Boris: Yes, the only two people in Ukraine Igor the Armorer would not arm.

Yuri: The Slobo brothers? They are idiots! Didn't Igor give grenade launchers to the insane?

Boris: No he gave pallet of grenade launchers to the elderly. He gave shotguns to the insane.

Yuri: What happened to the Slobo brothers?

Boris: After two hours Volody chased them out of the shop with flamethrower.

Yuri: So you're saying, Volody fired them?

Boris: You are too funny Yuri! It's almost time for Dimitri's new Tik-Tok video to premier. Rumor has it he pranked President Z.

Yuri: You mean like when he hired Boris Yeltsin-impersonator to play British Prime Minister?

Boris: That wasn't one of Dimitri's videos, that was on the news.

No, it's really not. One nation invaded another, and is currently slaughtering its citizens and threatening the rest of the world with nuclear weapons. An invasion of a sovereign nation is a step beyond the usual political games and brinkmanship, nevermind the threats of nuclear war.

This isn't rocket science, but I suppose I can see the confusion in someone who's main concern is maintaining their own contrarian, conspiracy-minded ego.

Isn’t aiding in organizing, supporting and funding coup in a country a form of invasion?

And yes it’s literally a conspiracy going on. Hunter Biden’s payments from Ukrainian companies started in 2014 after the maidenhead coup.

I suppose if you have unwavering support for the Biden crime family it’s hard to see the potential conflict of interest.

Yes, the majority of the free world are supporting Ukraine because of their unwavering support for the Biden crime family.

Too bad world leaders aren't INGO members, so they could get the "real scoop" from our resident experts.

A couple more supports and you might have enough to build a bridge.

I'm not that old, but somehow I'm old enough to remember the last, counts fingers, uh...four wars that these same geriatrics sold us that turned out to be under false pretenses? Five? I can't even keep track.

When the batting average is .000 and you're thirty years into the season, you can be pretty sure the guy is gonna whiff the next pitch.

    Anyway...

    From the article:

"During this period, the Russian armed forces and formations of the Donetsk People's Republic will unilaterally cease any hostilities," the ministry said in a statement.

"People's Republic"? Really? I thought that laughable in its tone deafness until it occurred to me: did the Russkies just say the quiet part out loud? In the madman in the Kremlin's grand plan, is Donetsk the third of The New Socialist "Republics" (after Georgia and then Crimea)? With Ukraine in his sights to be the fourth?
