Computer generation has gone a long way.
Honestly I thought about that as well.

It was a drone flying without its transponder on(Pentagon said it was). What would the US do if it was in our Air Defense Identification Zone(which extends well outside of our territor)?

By our own law,we can shoot it down or take other measures to keep our ADIZ free of hostile aircraft. It does have two aircraft exempted from having a transponder on. Gliders and Balloons.

The US only recognizes Japan's,UK,and EU members ADIZ zones.

    Pot meet kettle.

I ****ing *knew* it couldn't be Russia's fault. I'm just disappointed that the Blame America First crowd took so long to conjure up some wild-assed story to explain away Russian violations of international law.

    Transponders and CGI. Gotcha.

Duh. Russia is Right! We made them run into that drone while dumping fuel. And we made them invade Ukraine. Made them do all the bad things they are accused of. The sooner "you people" get that the better off we will be.

I am not pro Russian or Pro Ukrainian. I see our leadership charging windmill claiming they are dragons, while ignoring our own borders, country, debt, and citizens.
I agree with this article about were we are likely headed. Arrogance, grift, and a population divided so many ways was their downfall as well.
We have people in charge who hate our country. A media that portrays the constitution as something to be hated that needs to be over come. A financial system based not on our constitutional one,but a corporation that profits from it. A people were sides hate each other, with new "sides" added like clockwork when the old stand bys start to have less impact.
We have agencies that hate and pursue groups they disagree with, while supporting unlawful groups or giving them a free pass to do anything.
We are not as a country in any condition to face a war on any front, much less 2. But...that is where we are heading, likely soon.

The transponder thing is easy to verify on any civilian network that tracks air traffic. It was off.
The USAF E-8C JSTAR left hours before, easily seen. The reaper never appeared on any civilian tracking.

This seems to be exactly what the Russian propaganda wants said.

All the intelligence reports are showing that Russia is sowing seeds of discontent in social media about the evils of whatever party is in power and whatever boogeyman they can prop up -

    - "Ukraine and Russia is a planned distraction from drag queens (or whatever you hate about America)"
    - "This will lead to a world government and loss of sovereignty."
    - "We should be securing on our borders."

That last one is laughable. As if shipping HIMARS and Vampires to fight Communism somehow hamstrings the border patrol.

I doubt I the time to read Town hall articles, and I'm certainly not wasting time on claptrap that has a vitriolic headline of, "xxxx hates American" regardless of who wrote it or whom they are demonizing.

Ok, I stand corrected: This is exactly what the Russian propaganda wants said.

What if it's manned aircraft, or maybe a cruiser, or perhaps Putin should blow up one of our satellites? How badly do you want America hurt to stick it to Biden?

Biden will most likely be out in less than two years. Putin likely won't.

One does have to remember it wasn't very long ago that the US did everything but push the button on killing several hundred Russian sailors in the Black Sea. I am honestly surprised they didn't shoot it down outright as a hostile nation ISR asset in an active theater of war. For all they know it's lining up another shot for land based ASMs.

Big meh from me. The point of a drone is to do shady things that might get it shot down. Beats another Gary Powers.

That attitude (hurt America at all costs) is akin to sinking the boat you’re on to spite the lake. The lake don’t care.

    Times is the ultimate choir-preacher.

It’s entitled, “Can We Put an End to America’s Most Dangerous Myth?” Is it about the idea that country was founded on and for racism? No, the Times makes too much money off that one.

So, what is this “myth”? “Our most toxic myth is our “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” individualism,” the piece contends.

Yes, that’s right, individuality is “toxic.” The idea that Americans are independent, able to live within their means and stand on their own is a huge problem…says the Communist Manifesto, er, this column.

I can see why you would not want to read it. Probably does not allign with you politically.
You sound like one of the "End communism in Russia and China,by making the US a socialist country" people who follow what ever narrative they are feed,no matter how obsurd.
