    About those tanks in storage.

Most have had crap stolen off them.

Also interestingly, Russia sent a one off prototype into the war zone.

I've said it before. I agree 100% that it was a huge mistake to restrict access to SWIFT. It's like restricting the flow of the US currency backed global system which is the life's blood that sustains our prominence.
The financial gambit was anticipated with regard to sanctions and the SWIFT response. The levers were already in play before the invasion and a nod from Xi only cemented another facet that they could invade and still retain some needed global support. We are perceived as weakened in so many ways seeing high inflation, energy dependency, political & civil discourse, disregard for laws and those who enforce them, morality, etc.etc. But primarily an appearance of a country that is questioning and trying to change everything about its identity. A move away from the dollar may have always been a part of the plan and a cherry on top for China.

It doesn’t help that we have incoherent leaders speaking at podiums and going off script exactly when there should be zero confusion over our responses. It’s like showing up to a 3D chess game with crayons and coloring books.

This is a response from some Polish friends of ours who were born in and live in Poland.

Biden, hypocrite "Democrat", one of the chief murderers
of the last year dares to praise democracy while speaking
    in Warsaw.

Im not sure Joe can last to 2024 honestly. Poor guy just needs to retire.
February 2023 is as long as he needs to “last.” After that, the Hollow-Suit Hyena can assume the office and be there for ten years. Well, after she “wins” two more elections of course.

Doesn’t matter that she’s as bright as box turtle - the Office isn’t running the show anyway.

In case anyone has forgotten, war is brutal, the idea of being humanely treated as a pow is a fairy tale and the Ukrainians aren’t exactly the good guys (neither is Russia)

I've heard talk about the first update that the Russians are starting to scale back their broader campaign and are refocusing their efforts back on securing just the Southern port and Eastern Donbas regions. Military pundits have surmised that the Russians made a big tactical mistake thinking they could go for the whole pie and sustain a larger campaign.

Once again it seems that they are trying to avoid the insurgency issues we found ourselves bogged down in during iraq and Afghanistan.

Quickly taking the capital while allowing potential insurgents to live behind the new lines is a terrible idea. Russia means to permanently make any captured area “Russian”.

Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus (who didn't make the list) combined, exported < 30% of wheat exported worldwide. Eight of the top ten wheat exporters are either NATO countries or allies of NATO countries. Though Russia can indeed impact world wheat prices a great deal. It's not like they're able to embargo NATO nations in a supply threatening way.

Russia needs income to fuel their somewhat pathetic military. An embargo hurts them probably more than it hurts NATO nations, other than food prices will rise. The price of Wheaties is going up.
It would be so nice if they did not play games with figures wouldn't it?
See I can post a chart of last year that looks very different. In metric tons.

Producing and what your exporting can be 2 different things correct. One stat is producing and another stat was what is going to other countries.

If Trump had ran for Congress...? And this Nov. the R's take the house.....Trump could of been picked the leader. Then if the Senate got a few seats.....Biden impeached, Kamala I'm sure has lots of skeletons and she gets impeached and whamo!.....Trump is president again....LOL. But you would have to get the FBI, CIA, and DOJ approval to do any of that first. Then they would have to check with China and make sure it was ok to do so before letting Congress do that.
Or, we could take both the house and senate in '22 and stop the bleeding, re-elect Trump in '24 and let him come in with a fire axe and chop out the rot in the alphabet agencies. After that, eliminate some of the 'Departments of [ ]' that are pretty much useless and move the rest out of DC like Trump wanted to do with the BLM (the one that isn't a racist shill)

Then Trump turns over the keys to someone like DeSantis and the job continues for eight more years at least

Or, 0Biden starts a nuclear war with Russia and the political composition of the legislature is the least of our worries

Yeah I saw that about Ken-Tec the other day. Something about the purchaser in Odessa being unable to be reached due to the ongoing war. Hopefully they send some ammo with them too.

The Keltec guy noted that others were sending ammo. He didn't specify what the guns were, but they were chambered in a popular available caliber?

You can mock or what every you want to feel better, but I was not wrong then and in less than two years it is likely almost no country on earth but us will want to trade in US dollars, unless we have WW3(even then many will not want dollars). Guess we will see who is correct.
Sure, pal. And when you are wrong again, it will be "jUsT wAiT tWo mOrE yEaRs!" again.

It's always amazed me that the people who really know how to run the world economy are all in barber shops and on internet forums. Shame they don't lend their "expertise" where it might make a difference. But I suppose public doomsturbation is more fun.

I remember when the internet was young. Still waiting on Y2K to kill us all. :):
