I have the similar feelings about this. While I love that this gun part mocks Obama, I have to admit that I really don't want any memory of that guy on a fine rifle. When I go to the range it's my "happy" time, and the less he enters my mind the more enjoyable the day will be.
What if you were a person whose relatives were persecuted during WWII and you now own a german luger. Knowing that you explain it to your kids as an important part of your history. Even though it is not a pleasent thing to remember, it still is something from a bad time. I think I would like to have one to show my boys "this is from a time when we, as gun owners, were having our freedom threatened. This reminds me that, even though it was a bad time in America's history, we were able to stand up for what we believe in."
This is the reason I want one.
