A global public health emergency? 18000 cases. Maybe a handful of deaths. 98% are men who have sex with other men. How is it an emergency that requires some special response? Not that any deaths are dismissable. But calling it a global health emergency? I mean. c'mon. There is a behavior identified that seems to be very highly correlated with the spread. Maybe disengaging from that behavior at least temporarily could stop it. Maybe... 15 days to slow the spread?

What would be awesome is if 'patient zero' in the US turned out to be an unvetted border jumper from some ****hole country, where this was already endemic, turned loose by Biden's policies and flown to NY on those oh dark thirty flights into HPN and Stewart

Look, I don't agree with it, but I agree with the first amendment. The same thing that allows me to have vacation bible school for all the neighborhood kids is the same thing that allows this fruitloop to prance around.

Some of the comments seem to indicate that there was no actual exposure of the thing's genitals, so I guess that makes it OK. I cannot fathom the thought process of parents hearing about such an event and deciding that taking their kids to see it would be A Good Thing.
