    They also toe down statutes, charged street names, changed flags and disbanded (secret) police when communism fell in Eastern Europe. (I.e. Selected events can always fit whatever meme you want)

    Here in Fort Wayne we just celebrated General Anthony Wayne day; rallied around the statute of a dead white man that fought against the native Americans. All without much controversy... In other words, it's not all doom and gloom everywhere. There are good things in America...

    Purple implied, or do we share different opinions regarding the definition of "violent attacks" (against persons)?

    Functionally, January 6th was little more than disturbing the peace, trespassing, and some instances of theft/vandalism. Those should be prosecuted for the crimes that they are. Continuing to pretend that it was an insurrection is tedious.
