Somebody in that thread posted a link about the picture. I think it was from Brazil -- somewhere like that. Apparently, the author and/or photographer said the innocent little waif simply approached the officers -- the officers who were part of a team that had just cleared and presumably calmed an area where other innocent waifs and young gentlemen were protesting and/or rioting. I guess she'd lost her puppy or something and just out of the blue, like cops always do, doused her with pepper spray.

I don't know. I wondered if it was a critical view of the average internet warrior. The guy holding the knives kinda looks like an unlikely knife wielder IRL.
