My wife went to a local nursery and bought some plants for the front flower beds today, before we even unloaded em out of the truck, this little guy was getting a drink from the butterfly plant. We thought it was a hummingbird at first, but it was a bug! Actually called a hummingbird clearwing moth.

I walked about 200+ yards out on this sandbar in the Gulf off Cayo Costa, FL.

Pretty good sized limb came down at the bottom of my property by the road. Went down to cut it up and clean up. 4th cut into the log got a little squish coming out what looked like a clump of earthworms. Nah, black snake holed up in the hollow of the tree branch. Probably a 4 footer. Then to my surprise the smaller female came crawling out. Got her too but not completely severed. SORRY TO KILL YUR SEX PARTY

I always let the non venomous ones go about there business. Wish I had known they were in there. I would've tried something to get them out and let them scurry along

I took this several years ago. A hawk swooped into an oak in my backyard, snatched a squirrel and went to the neighbor's tree
to have a meal. You can see the squirrel's tail hanging down.

I damn near killed myself climbing down slippery rocks to get this shot at the top of a waterfall at Clifty Falls State Park.
