My own opinion to both threads is simple: people suck and it only takes a few to ruin it for all

I may take a couple ibuprofens and see if that helps.

I think it's the Ibu that destroys your kidneys and the Tyl destroys your liver. I think I have that the right way around.
My doc tells me to alternate between the two, if aspirin is not enough.

Of course, aspirin destroys the stomach lining, so where are we now?

I already take an 83mg aspirin dose every day for BP concerns.
I usually use heat and cold as a therapy and by the time I'm bored with that, the pain is again manageable.

That's probably not going to be in the cards for me. Susan's next chemo treatment is the 3rd, so she won't feel like it. It'll just be another day. I'm just thankful that Ruthie doesn't care about fireworks. Other dogs we've had were nervous wrecks for a few weeks around the 4th.

Our dog is about the same. Not troubled by the noise of fireworks.

Our home is surrounded by folks who drop large amounts on expensive rockets. I see no need to add to that show from my own pocket.

I just sit out and watch everyone else make a sparkle show.
Some are already doing some test launches.

I almost never take any pain medicine. I've got enough other pills to keep me occupied. I also take a low dose aspirin once a day. Have for about 30 some years.

Pretty breezy here too. Rain isn't supposed to arrive until around 5 or 6, but the bulk will be after 8 or 9.
