Saw this sight northbound on 41. Cell phone photo kinda shaky, but pretty cool. Guy gave me a look after I passed him - he might have seen my phone pointed towards him ... oops! I did give him the friendly wave on my way by him and he didn't flip me off at least.

Down at my folks' place 800 miles due south. Shootin tree-rat as they strip pecan from the tree before they're even ripe. If you don't do something, you'll get no pecan - and we like pecan.

Rifle is a CZ bolt action in .17 hm2 caliber. It's good on tree-rat to about 130 yards. Doing it behind the screen, and from 100 yards out, they don't get spooked, and will step over their fallen comrades to get to the tree. I've taken as many as 14 on a good morning. Depredation laws remove any limit and we want them gone - all of them.

ps.: you never get rid of all of them. Next spring, they're out again in force.

Got rear-ended an hour ago. Taking wife and kid out to dinner. Heavy traffic and stopped. I'd guess ******* that hit us was doing 35mph.
While waiting on tow truck and ride almost had another accident and then 10 minutes later a 3 car accident. Wife and kid were sitting on a bench while we waited on ride. 2 minutes after getting up off bench the 3rd car involved in 2nd accident jumped curb and hit the bench and building

Picked up a Savage Mk. II in .22 LR a couple weeks back but they also had .17s but I don't recall if they were HM2 or HMR. Still kinda want to go back for one because it seemed like .17 rimfire calibers never disappear in the ammo panics
