I couldn't imagine how much a roof replacement costs in today's market...if you can get it done without waiting months. Should be an interesting number negotiated.
You know the size of my house (small), and this was prior to the Fauchi Flu shortages. 2 layer takeoff. A few boards replaced (decking is plank not plywood), was almost $7k

Went food shopping. Skipped the cookies, pies, cakes, ice cream.

Bought a watermelon and some bananas.

I ate a banana earlier to day.

I don't feel like the watermelon right now.

I'm wishing for ANYTHING that I DIDN'T pick up.
    Ugh.

I've raised my prices nearly 30% this year. No choice. As an example my ATF costs went from $560 for a 100 gallons to $1440 since the beginning of the year.

And don't get me started on the lack of parts availability
    I am not complaining.

My labor cost is the same. Material is pretty high.

So...if any of you slackers find a great deal on something in OhiO, maybe I can pick it up. I'm generally in the Cleveland area, but I've been down around Cincinnatti,

Well, guess I will get to experience more/worse migraines.
After I retired, I had to pay $100 copay for the Botox for the 30 shots in the head/neck/shoulders that lower the amount of migraines, and lessen the intensity.
They just called, and now want $300.
    .
Of course there is a "program" I can enroll in, and I can probably get it for free. All I have to do is give over a bunch of personal information.
Of course, they want to make money off people's info.
NO THANKS. My privacy is NOT for sale.
    .
So I just canceled the doc appointment for tomorrow.
Now, they won't get money from insurance or me.
    F' them.
I guess I'm going in to investigate other treatments. Who knows, maybe they'll work better.
There are a few options out there you can try. Problem is they may not be much less expensive.

    Aimovig
    Emgality
    Ajovy
    Nurteq
And I believe there is a new pill you can take from what my neurologist was saying.

I use Ajovy. It has reduced my migraines down generally to 0-2 a month. Aimovig had me in the hospital with really high blood pressure. The other two don't do anything for me.

There is also Ubrelvy for treating them. It is not a triptan, so it won't mess with your blood pressure.

    I can't have any triptans.
They caused me to lose half my vision in an eye.
