Not even close to my path of travel. I go westbound on rural roads, pick up IL Rt 1 and go north up Rt 1 to 394 to 294.

But I will allow extra travel time.

They are. Jedi was north of that area and they were putting down heavy salt as jedi was driving south still in commieland.

IL is good about doing that unlike indiana

jedi now in Westmount, IL. Roads are OK here. Jedi will be on 355 heading back in about 1 hour.

Based on your reports jedi will probably avoid the 80/94 route.

My SIL and her friend drove up from Indy late this afternoon and just got home. 40 mph on I-65 with cars off the road everywhere. Said 30 is bad news coming west from I-65 also.

When I left the IU Natatorium in Indy headed for the hotel, it was light rain and 32 degrees. Roads were wet, but not slick (yet). The hotel parking lot and sidewalks were a bit icy.

While in I-65, before getting off on 465 I saw the Georgia busses headed south with police escort and southbound 65 cleared of traffic.

The IL tollway was nice, clean, dry and salty. Traffic was moving ok.

80/94 once jedi hit Torrance Ave coming toward indiana was a mess and once on the Indiana side forget it nothing but wet, icey mess. Yups indiana never pre-salting.

Did see one accident with 4 cars. 2 in the side of the roads in the ditch and 2 others damaged front and back. Dummies!
