I wonder if that can happen to me, after retirement? So you're saying that you're regular. That's a good thing.

It probably took a week for the order form to arrive there by way of USPS.catalogs used to state "4 to 6 weeks for delivery"
This is one think jedi likes about boomers. Ya are patient enough to wait for your mail packages. Unlike the Gen Z and millennial who cry if their package is not here the next day.Thing I don't like about shipments that hand off to USPS is that they can disappear into a black hole for a while before they resurface. Funny how we track our packages with technology and fret about them nowadays. In prehistoric times, you ordered stuff and just accepted that it would arrive some day but with little certainty about when. When our mom would order something for us from one of the catalogs, it seemed like it took a month for it to arrive.
Found out yesterday that the Four Winds in New Buffalo now has metal detectors at the front and garage entrances. Had to take the ZT back to the car before the guy would let me in.
Will this be the new norm?Found out yesterday that the Four Winds in New Buffalo now has metal detectors at the front and garage entrances. Had to take the ZT back to the car before the guy would let me in.
BTW, both the shrimp and mahi tacos at Stray Dog are still quite yummy !!
Probably…???Will this be the new norm?
And, your wife brought ?$ and left with ?$.Probably…???
We don’t go but maybe once a month. It’s kinda my wife’s thing more than mine. Them being non-smoking now makes going not as bad for me.
I went with $100 for gamblin, played for a couple hours, and left with $108.…. Not exactly a high roller by any means !!
Boomers remember that former life but, most have become impatient like everyone else now that they can get stuff next day. They just recognize that life will go on, with or without shipping delays. This is one think jedi likes about boomers. Ya are patient enough to wait for your mail packages. If u can't wait go buy the thing at the store right now! jedi don't care if you have to drive 4000 miles to go get the item. If u want it that badly.
Morning all.
Now let me drink come hot coco before this dumb road trip to the airports this AM. Ugh

Uhhh, lets just say that the 8 bucks of "their" money that I left with wouldn't cover what she left them of "her" money !!!And, your wife brought ?$ and left with ?$.
Yeah, the first (and only) time I went to a casino, it was Majestic Star, I think. I took $50 assuming I would lose it. After I had lost $20, I said screw this, and left with my $30. I'm too cheap to gamble.Uhhh, lets just say that the 8 bucks of "their" money that I left with wouldn't cover what she left them of "her" money !!!
It's all for fun. What we take to play with is assumed to be lost, so even just breaking even is a "success" !!!
Crown Point is this weekend. (Unless the signs I saw yesterday were from last weekend, but I assume they were not.)Saw a sign about a gun show yesterday on 30 and RT .53
you jinxed me.New dryer purchased. Old one removed and new one installed
I'll be there in one hour. Report to followHas anybody been to the new Sheepdog firearms a little east of where Hart St. ends at Exchange? Wondering if they have much ammo and how their prices are.
