I've got 10-12 Pmags still in the package and I'm also wondering whether to load them or leave them be. If I ever wanted to sell them, in the package would be better. But on the other hand, I don't think the zombies (or whoever) would oblige if I asked them to wait while I load them up.

You should be good. You need to teach your mom to reload as you expend what you have loaded.

Heavy shutters with loop holes would be good too.
