We're guessing the Conservation Club is still too wet. Buddy offered his range up (25, 100, 200, 300, 400, & 440yds). He mowed it yesterday and said it was dry up io 200yds. Sounds like the best option this morning. Rain coming in down here at 5pm.

Glad the storms missed us last night. Nice to wake up this morning to the Sun and temps already over 70.

Lots of iron site rifle time. Dad got his new scope zeroed in preparation for his African hunt. Buddy and I abused our shoulders with some C&R specials. We'll both be at the race tomorrow, to compare shoulders. He brought a carbine with a flat metal butt plate from Budapest that sent energy to the back side of my arm. I see why he doesn't shoot it much. Got errands run and heading to a cookout in a few.

Sounds like a good time. Hopefully rain holds out for the race tomorrow for you

Sketters are out looking for blood.

Haven't seen any skeeters here yet, but with all this rain its only a matter of time. Gnats were bad today.
Pool almost up to temp for some use, but tomorrows high of 65 will probably drop the temp a few degrees.
Last year was using the pool for 2 weeks already

Got some range time this morning. Ran my Springfield Loaded Champion, Ruger Sr1911, Ruger Lcp custom, and one of Arex Rex Zeros.
Tested out some 45 handloads as well
All in all ran about 400 rounds between the 4 i took today.
Was overdue, hadnt beem to the range in a couple of weeks

Good luck with Mother Nature and hoping she will cooperate. Kinda gray up here this morning.

I just looked at the radar hoping for the best for you. If the race is finished by 1 you should be fine.
Thanks! Great race. It was on pace to be the fastest in history until that rookie caused a wreck with 20 laps to go crashing 5 into the safer barrier. They had to red flag the race to fix it (which slowed the overall time), but it was a flat out action packed sprint to the finish.
