    that was fun.

    Saw Andy, DansGotGuns,and TurnNShoot.
Most of the attendees seemed to be gun people. And ONE anti-gun priest.

There was no ordinance on the docket.
Apparently the priest was there last time asking for anti-gun ordinances.
And, since nothing showed up this time, he decided to stand up at the end and direct questions and accusations at the council.
So then, gun owners, and a FFL dealer got up and spoke.

I mentioned IC 35-47-11, firearms preemption.
Then I mentioned that criminals don't buy their guns from FFLs.
If they did, then most of the gun owners would be okay with going after the FFL that broke the law.
But, all he was doing was going after us legal gun owners.

I guess this guy keeps showing up.

    Don't remember.
People told me he's been badgering the council a couple times.

Since there was no resolution or ordinance proposal, I figured going there was a waste of time.
But then at the end, they open up for public comment, and he went up there and spoke.
    Failed logic, failed claims.
    Then a few "gunners" spoke.

Well, I put about 100 rounds through your pistol, Pete.

It fed ball OK. I did not have any jams with it.

When I mixed in Critical Defense and Federal hollow points, I Got 4 distinct jambs.

    1. Stuck on the bottom edge of the feed ramp of the receiver. (Critical Duty)
    2. Stuck on the bottom edge of the barrel. (Federal HP)
    3. Cocked in the chamber.
    4. Failure to go completely into battery.
It did not jam on every HP, but every jam was on an HP.

    I used 3 different magazines.
    1. Chip MacCormack 10 round. (would not insert without depressing the mag release, all 6 of them)
    2. Kimber 8 round.
    3. Mill Spec.
The problem did not seem to be with the magazines.

I will tear into it again after some thought.

Cool, thanks. I didn't think it would be the magazines because I tried a couple different ones but back then it always had issues with the loading and chambering. If it ran ball without issues it's already doing better. I don't think I'd ever ran HP through it, mainly because of issues with ball, didn't think HP would run at all.
