..... formerly near the Wild Turkey
It was, because in the 3-4 times I was set up I sold about 6-7 guns and a lot of holsters and other excess accessories I had lying around. Booth rent was $45 each weekend. I only broke even on the guns, but I needed the money. It stopped being as productive by the July show because I only had three guns left, and they were all 'plain janes'. I had sold all of the unique/desirable ones already.

When I asked, I was thinking about the skin care products and stuff.

What an a$$h... that CP person was.
Makes jedi wonder if Pinkdragon would have been yelled by that person if she was the on sick/hospital bound as well.

The lip balms? I sold a few but not enough to pay the rent. Not enough women there, and men just said "I don't have any use for that." Apparently men do not have lips. I even made bacon lip balms just for the gun show.

Its cause lip balm is so ggggaaaayyy ;)
Jedi has a small lip balm container that usmarine's better half gave jedi as a sample when jedi bought his custom pink soap from her. It's a nice product but jedi just forgets about it.

    Between $0.00 and $100k. :)
Depending on who the "loved one" is.

If s/he is demanding a SPECIFIC amount or higher ring, turn around, walk away and then just flat out run!

They dont value you, they value stuff and forever will you be doomed as no amount of stuff will ever be enough.

    Marriage is NOT about love.
    It's a legal business transaction.
Two people coming together to have a better overall financial footing in this society in the usa.

You dont need marriage to live with someone you love.
You could just get married via the church if you want that.
If you dont believe in gods you dont even need that.

So with that frame in mind. Marriage in this post is a business transaction and a VERY COSTLY one at that if you pick the wrong biz partner.

So when you ask how much for a ring.
Are you asking because you dont know how much to spend?
If so then you have already failed.
Again this is a biz transaction. You and biz partner need to know how much you guys can afford and that gives you the "how much to spend".

If you two ran a cigar shop and you wanted to buy a new fancy security system would you just buy it for the shop with out telling your biz partner? hell no!!! Both of you would sit down, look at your finances, and then determine ok we cant get 100k system but we could get the 150 system and it will work for our needs now.

The managers here have officially run out of **** to make people do. They're painting the dark grey sheet metal siding on one of our shanties with bright blue paint. It's gonna look worse after they're done.

    That's because they're idiots.
    There's always something to do.
But, the problem is, they'd have to buy some parts.
Instead, they say, "We're not making money, so we can't buy parts".
Then, when we're making money, they say, "We can't shut down, we have orders to fill."
So we just fix enough stuff to limp along.

For years, we've had some major projects planned.
    Money was allocated.
But, now "We're not making any steel."
Well, then do the damn projects.
Instead, they're going to wait, and shut us down when we could have been making steel.

    Idiots.

'82, $350 for engagement and wedding ring.

When I hear that a girl refuses a ring because it it is not big enough, I agree with jedi's first post. Turn around, walk away and run. Good riddance bad rubbish.

I feel sorry for those like jedi that have had bad experiences. I personally wish you the best success in the future.

Well there's no way she'd ever find out how much I spent. It's for my own personal demons to rest assured I attempted to do good

It wouldn't matter if $500 or $5000 to her either

How much do you spend on an engagement ring?

    Serious
The guideline from the jewelry stores (of course) is three months salary. Depends on the girl. I'd be in love with a $1K solitaire, and then there's a girl I worked with at the hospital who had her heart set on a particular $13K ring and would settle for nothing less.
