Epic journey? Foolish trip? Either way we are now in the UP of Michigan. (Way north of US30). Up the Lake Michigan coastline on mostly 2 lane roads. Heading for Lake Superior. And then???

2 motorcycles, 1 tent, 2 sleeping bags and 1 bottle of bourbon.

Store is tiny. Mostly it’s a restaurant and bar.

It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark out and we're wearing sunglasses.

But in our case ... 4000 miles, 2 countries, 5 Great Lakes, 1 married couple, 2 motorcycles, 1 tent, 2 sleeping bags and 1 bottle of bourbon. Might need more bourbon.

Camping etiquette dictates at least one bottle per sleeping bag. I read it on the interwebz.

Looking for suggestions for a appliance shop in the area other than Best Buy and home improvement stores. Anybody know of an outlet or scratch and dent place in the area? Looks like I need a new gas dryer.

Nason's in Crown Point is not an outlet, but it's a mom and pop that has competitive prices. They sometimes have scratch and dent items. They're on Summit St near Buddy and Pal's.

That being said, Lowe's had a really great appliance sale running that was supposed to end yesterday (Weds) but it's still up on their website as of 5am Thursday. https://www.lowes.com/c/Appliances We picked up an upright freezer for really cheap.

Good morning fellow INGO. Starting out a beautiful morning, let's see how it goes. Trying to move out of one desk and area into another at work today, so let's see how this goes. Also, have to try and set up a scanner that involves 3 separate people from 2 different agencies. What could possibly go wrong?

It's the door on the right hand side. The door on the left is all new merchandise, but you can access both sides.
