way too many people.
i prefer the fl beaches in the winter when there is very few people.

plus that is polluted lake michigan with zero sharks. what fun is that?

Quaint little town. My son likes the Children's Museum. Silver Beach Pizza is ok.

You can really tell they are not fans of IL folks.

At first everyone came and had a great time. Then, some riff-raff from IL would take a trip over causing trouble. Visitors quit coming in the usual large numbers causing the decline of the entertainment area. They were never able to recover and expand like they initially intended.

At first everyone came and had a great time. Then, some riff-raff from IL would take a trip over causing trouble. Visitors quit coming in the usual large numbers causing the decline of the entertainment area. They were never able to recover and expand like they initially intended.

We used to go to St. Joe for the Venetian festival. Heard it is no longer going on.

Porter County coroner is called to the scene of a fatal fireworks accident in Hebron

OMG! From a FB friend:

"Persimmon Pkwy, Hebron. Police officer was having a party at his home, when another officer at the party went to light off a mortar. The mortar didn't go off, the officer went to check it out when the mortar went off and be-headed the officer. Another male at the scene was also badly hurt with head trauma.
This was witnessed by my daughter who called 911 & my son-in-law.
My granddaughter was friends with the officer's daughter.
This is just devastating.
Asking for prayers for the families, and those that witnessed this traumatic incident.
Coroner arrived about 15 min. ago.
The other officer was taken to a trauma center."
