FWIW, Bushnell has several promotions going on. I'm looking at the $30 rebate on Trophy products. I can get a Trophy 1.75x4x on eBay for less than $75 shipped. After the rebate that's a pretty good deal.

It may be sacrilege to some, but I want a decent small scope for my Marlin 1894 in 45LC. I plan on deer hunting with it and my eyesight isn't what it used to be.

I'm supposed to play Cog Hill tomorrow. With the rain today, and potential for rain again tomorrow, I'm not sure if that's going to happen. Good news is that its an outing through work so I'm out nothing but maybe a bit of time.

Scot here also. My dad called it pasture pool. Ive had a couple of friends talk me into playing. My first 18 holes I shot 108 with a PRO coaching me on nearly every stroke. I never got close to that again, unless I was playing 9.
