OMG, total over-reaction from the university. I got this e-mail today:

OFFENSE: Suspicious Armed Subject
DATE: August 23, 2016
TIME: 12:15 pm (Approximation)
LOCATION: 7100-7200 Block of Schneider Hammond, IN 46323

August 23, 2016 at approx. 12:15 pm
One of our Officers were approached by an area residence advising that she had just observed a younger white male carrying a handgun in the area of the 7100-7200 block of Schneider. Subject did not display the weapon in a threatening manner nor did he commit any crimes at this time that we are aware of. All officers will be in and around campus doing security patrol.

I was wondering why the helicopter was overhead and I was seeing the campus police all over the place.
And no, it wasn't me. I was in class.

It also said the so-called suspect (who they admit committed no crime) was 'younger' and that would leave you out too. Not that you are as old as some of us, but you are closer to AARP membership than you are to "younger"
