Should I have bought Dillon dies instead of using by lee carbide dies?

If you use the lee or RCBS dies you'll need a crimp die. I bought the Dillon dies with my new/used press so can't really say. On the Dillon's bullet seater die there is a quite bit difference.

Thank you all for the help and the feedback, I have been doing research on the Dillon and like what I see and hear so far. Will still keep my single stage. Nice to know others are doing the same thing.

My Lee has the crimp die. I was using the 4 hole turret press.

Good to hear. As a newbie too, you'll enjoy the 550.
