P MAGS are overrated.

They are good. Possibly one of the best but not thee best.

Reliable mags are a must (and a bad mag is a weak link), but for the money they were commanding, I'd wait until my old mags go south before getting any new Pmags.

It's been awhile since I owned an SKS but even if I had to resort to throwing rocks and using harsh language to defend myself I don't think I could fork over $900+ for a rifle of that quality.

I voted "$900 sks". It was not all that long ago when I was FFL that I use to buy them for around $69.99 each ( Norinco China and Yugo models) and you were lucky to get $89.99 out of them.
