I'll never solve the mystery of people who think that saving $12 is the most important consideration for a carry mag.

I have noticed a few on-line retailer selling OEM Glock mags in the $18 dollar range, maybe the cheaper magpul mags are making the Glock mags sit in a warehouse or the shelf longer.
Supply and demand at play here.

I've already got 3 OEM mags for carry, and I usually carry one or none in addition to the one in the gun. That said, if I can get 250 trouble free rounds through each Pmag, I would consider them validated for carry, if I was so inclined.

This is one of the primary reasons I chose to get a Glock instead of another manufacturer. Hard to find other OEM mags for $19.

I was able to run about 150 rounds through each of my Magpul mags yesterday. Completely flawless. What was impressive were the Zev Tech Magpul extensions I was able to pick up. They are +5 specifically for the Magpul mags only. A breeze to install and lock up exceptionally solid. Loading all 22 rounds were easy with a mag loader. I'll load some pics here in a sec.
