So because it stood for 49 years it is sacrosanct. I assume they are in favor of segregation and separate but equal then since Plessy vs Ferguson stood for 58 years.Don't ask me how I got on their email list, but the organizers are at it.

Hard to understand why someone would walk all the way to US for freedom and then vote blue
Most that I've seen have been indoctrinated to believe it. It's difficult to overcome propaganda from all directions.Hard to understand why someone would walk all the way to US for freedom and then vote blue

Just today I was talking with an Egyptian student who hated Republicans before coming to America since the message over there is "Republicans hate Muslims" then comes here and meets conservatives and realizes it's mostly nonsense.
A few months back, an Indian student was saying "Oh these Republicans want to do ___" (I don't remember what at this time.) I carefully explained the conservative and in fact mainstream Republican take on it, and was given a "that actually sounds reasonable." When I tried to drive the point home... the student said "don't tell me I agree with the Republicans on anything" - needs a bit more time to sink in.
One a note related to the thread:
Agreed. Even just arguing separation of powers seems to make people alt-right these days (just... wow)Indoctrination is strong in both wings of the party of state.
I've been thinking about this, and at first it sounds good, but what if it also causes liberals to move to blue states? I know that at first that sounds good too, but since representation in the House is determined by population, could that increase representation for blue states while decreasing representation for red states? Now I suppose it's possible that conservatives may flee the blue states in favor of red states, but it's something to consider I think.Hopefully this will keep some of the rabid liberals from moving into Conservative States.

ETA: Maybe it will be a wash.
Good. Now we have a bigger list of companies not to do business with.I am watching Fox news and they are showing all the companies that are gonna pay for employees travel to abortion legal states. It's a win/win for them. They look all supportive to their employees AND they don't have to pay for maternity leave. Travel to and from a abortion legal state is much cheaper than maternity leave. Plus less time off because less sick kid days/daycare issues. Insurance will also cost them less because less sick kids. JM2C.
Another concern I have is the timing of the Roe and the NY gun control decisions. While I applaud both, I hope that conservatives don't decide to "rest on their laurels" so to speak, while the left sees these decisions as a rallying point for the upcoming midterms. I could see this turning into a "be careful what you wish for" situation. Not trying to be pessimistic, but again, just something to ponder.Given "representation" is limited to 435 clowns, this is a valid concern.
The central state has grown well beyond the size of a functional republic.
Well worth the read:

Especially in Saint Louis, which is a bastion of Progressive Socialists. The infamous "Squad" member Cori Bush (D, MO-1 representing St Louis and burbs north) is not only shrieking that the sky is falling, her hair is on fire claiming that it has apocalyptically fallen. This is going to upset a few liberals.
