I love how she quoted herself supposedly quoting the Capitol police and the IT specialists. If the capital police said that then I want her to show their statement. No way in hell would I trust her. You can be a criminal and be a member of Congress and a lot have commited crimes while in Congress with the aid of their positions, so they dont automatically get any special trust from me.This denial is angry. This suggests she doesn’t have the temperament to be a Member of Congress. When someone is accused of something they didn’t do, they must not be angry. They must not be defiant. They must not question the motives of the accuser. They must be calm and serene.

Ford claimed she could not testify on Monday because she cannot fly due to PTSD from the assault. When questioned under oath about her several flights to Hawaii and other island destinations, she said it was easier to fly when she was going to a vacation spot. And, I think she flew to D.C. for Thursday's testimony.
Of course, this does not apply if you expect people to tell the truth only when under oath and find no fault with them lying every other time.
maybe we need to define lying.
I can see where one could believe she is lying but objectively her explanation was valid enough that it wasn't a lie. I've had fears I had to overcome. I can believe that testifying was stressful and I could see where adding the stress of flying there on top of it would be too much.
I have a fear of heights but when I have to get up on a ladder or fly or ride a roller coaster, I am fine once I get up there. Its the waiting in line or in the terminal where i have the most stress.
I wonder if she was accompanied by her parents for this trip, unlike her parties she was accustomed to attending? How old would she have been at this time?
While on her regional sports team for diving, she accompanied diver Greg Louganis on a trip to the White House to discuss the 1980 Summer Olympics boycott.[SUP][11][/SUP]
