I'm a little confused. $93.25 for 100 gr is $932.50 per kilogram. At 32.15 troy oz to the kilo isn't that $29.00/troy oz?

Ah, you are probably right. I just did a grams to ounces (not Troy ounces) conversion. Oh well. I still like the way it looks.

I've only got a couple of 1 oz bars and they're not cast, so it's something different. I liked the German emblem. Reminded me of some of the old military rifle markings.

I got some silver eagles just to have some, but I like the 90% half dollars they're based on better than the eagles.

The only gold I'd bought prior to the most recent purchase was a gold Britannia for DoggyMama and we paid too much. It was 1999.46 at the time. The bar I just bought was 125 less.

I went to my lcs today and watched the guy in front of me drop $1,250 on silver. A kilo bar and the rest was Franklin halves. Made my $80 purchase feel insufficient.

I like the Morgan Dollar coins.
I REALLY like the seated Liberty coins.
I really wish we would go back to images of Liberty on coinage.
I suspect we are stuck for some time with images of dead mortals like some sort of monarchy or commie regime.

I only have one Morgan. It's an 1879 given to me my my grandpa. That's the year he was born.

Well, all of my silver and the gold bar arrived today after being delayed by the weather, except for the silver rounds I ordered from SD Bullion (had to write a check). Check has cleared my bank account, so hopefully I'll be getting a ship notification early next week.
