I'd be the first to admit that pretending that guns destroyed by these program stop crime is hilarious.

Do they have any idea exactly how many guns are out there already and how many new guns are sold on a daily basis?

90 isn't even a drop in the ocean.

But this group spent $4500 to get a TON of free advertising for their cause.
It's like online casinos but a grilled cheese for $50,000 because they know the news stories will be flying with their name spread everywhere.

Maybe iNGO needs to sponsor one to spread the awareness of our group and mission?

I just now read through this whole thread and that circle city mall thread. It always amazes me how many people here seem to just be waiting to eat one of our own.

Bump :yesway:, Bump :yesway:,; but now with Jake gone what to do (can we have Jake back as GBuck joked:))?

I guess it is bed time, busy day tomorrow. :ingo:

I'm personal friends with enough cops, and have been helped out by cops, before (Like the member of the Ohio Gestapo that stopped by Walmart on the way out to me on the highway, to pick up a 4-way tire iron so I could change a trailer tire that was a different size lug than my truck) that I hate to see the 20% giving the other 80% a bad name, like Mr. SWAT did. I used to say "the 1%", then "the 5%", then "the 10%"... I'm up to 20%, now. Just too, too many JBT stories for it to really be 1% giving the others a bad name.

    The heck with it.

How about an INGO buyback program not funded by public funds? Does anyone think that the media will give us the :yesway: ?

We can honestly state that we're taking guns off the street.

JDMack will be in charge of street advertising. :D

I'm only in if it's within 50 feet of a traffic control device. :D

You guys are aware that there are metro police that like guns? You think they weren't following this thread from the get go? You really think they weren't waiting for someone to bogard the line looking to keep them from recording sellers info? Think deeper than what has been going on here. This was a big fat set-up for dumb crooks. You know, the kind that think they have hit the lottery. Please be nice to one another. We are of differing opinions on the same facts.

Come on! You don't give "crooks"enough credit!
Surely they're smart enough to sell to each other or barter for some crack or something. Guns are worth a hel* of a lot more than $50 on the street and they are surely fully aware of that!

Would probably be able to cut some nice deals to interested parties on guns in good shape. and yeah recoup most of the cost on the junk letting them go to the police. hell even if it was a decent mosin, buy it for $60, list it in the ingo classifieds for $75, and call it a day.
