Not sure if this has been shared here already but the Simon press release praised the armed civilian. They must have read the room. ""We grieve for the victims of yesterday’s horrific tragedy in Greenwood. Violence has no place in this or any other community. We are grateful for the strong response of the first responders, including the heroic actions of the Good Samaritan who stopped the suspect.""

Can’t confirm, but someone in the comments of one of Fox59’s Facebook posts says the shooter lived at Polo Run in Greenwood.
I would have no problem believing that one of the denizens of Polo Slum got tired of stabbing and shooting at each other and branched out.

At least FOX's lead to this story highlighted the fact that an armed civilian hero saved lives by neutralizing a criminal gunman armed with a rifle who murdered three and injured two and did'nt report it as a sidenote.

Gun grabbers tried to make a point that this happened just days after the Constitutional Carry law went in to effect. It did'nt have a damn thing to do with it and it wasn't the reason why this occurred.

Reese Jones notes that this incident happened just “days after Gov. Eric Holcomb’s new law that eliminates the license requirement to carry a handgun went into effect on July 1.”

Was the evil MF'r shooting people with a handgun?

If not then the License to Carry a handgun is irrelevant. And of course there is still the whole proper person requirement.

    And Murder is still illegal.

    Yup!
