Wait. Are we talking about any porn or just distributing to minors? Because the latter is definitely illegal. That should be strictly enforced.

This is the link. If read which few went to and actually read it. You'll find the answer.
It mainly deals with grooming children, but also the effects of pornography on the people as well.

I'll post this back up since there seems to be a lack of understanding of what is going on concerning grooming in this country. Take time to watch it.

    TL;DR

I saw that when it was posted earlier. But I didn't have to read the whole thing to draw an opinion. First, the page itself I think has so many WHEREAS's and BE IT RESOLVED's that it reads as super cheesy. Just say the stuff. Don't get too wordy. And that's coming from me the human lorum ipsum factory.

But, it looks like it's talking primarily against children getting access to porn and anti-grooming. And that is something worthwhile. Distributing porn to minors is illegal. So I completely agree with making the porn industry lock **** down better. They're gonna kick and scream because they're raking in ***loads of $$$ as it is now. I don't think people opposing porn can overcome that kind of money, but I'd like to see it happen.

I'm aware enough of the issues with grooming that I don't have to subject myself to 48 minutes of Glenn Beck.

The moral decay though is real.
Humanity ebbs and flows, the pendulum swinging back and forth between puritanism and debauchery, and every shade of gray in between. All of this pearl clutching about behavior that humanity has always partaken in is nonsense. It only seems to be worse now than ever because of the 24/7 constant feed of this stuff in the spotlight.

Also nonsense is the idea that a society will collapse if not for religion-driven morality. The least religious states in the US score better on every metric of quality of life, and the same is true for the least religious nations vs. the most religious.

The problem now is that kids aren't growing up into adults who ****. At least in pretty large numbers. Plenty of studies show that kids who watch a lot of porn have a very hard time in relationships. That hasn't happened before in any of the pendulum swings. That's alarming. We need kids to grow up and **** to keep humanity going. I'm not advocating anyting like puritanism. I'm just saying let kids be kids and let them have some relationships before they decide that porn and fapping is better than for realz. Saying it's no big deal because it's pearl clutching is just ignoring an actual problem that exists. Is it the biggest problem? No, but it is a problem and it's getting bigger. Probably should ****-can the groomers too.

Porn and fapping have been around way longer than the internet. Porn isn't why millenials are not having kids.

Mucho agreement on shitcanning the groomers, but that's a separate issue from porn in general. If we base what we ban for everyone on whether its good for kids or not, you can say goodbye to quite a lot of things.

With the widespread accessibility of the internet to everyone with a connection, I don't see how you "ban" porn anyway. Do we want the government monitoring IP traffic and kicking down doors because an adult wants to watch other adults get it on via their computer or smartphone? And who decides what constitutes "porn?" What is the next media or idea to be banned after porn, when big brother decides that yet another "threat to society" exists?

Are you saying that it's okay for porn to be distributed to minors? Technology could solve this problem or at least put a sizeable dent in it. Porn could be regulated to put behind pay walls. Well. It can't, because porn money would lobby against it.

And the slippery slope **** don't stick. We can figure out what the **** porn is. No one needs doors kicked in. Adults can still watch other adults ****ing if that floats their boats. We're talking about porn. We're not talking about big brother. Unless you're into that kind of thing. :):

Of course I am not saying that it's ok for porn to be distributed to minors. But if you think that technology can block minors from viewing porn, I've got an oceanview villa in Phoenix that I'd like to sell ya. They are the most tech savvy generation ever. That cat is out of the bag, and there ain't no paywall putting him back in. Half of the morons in congress that would be writing the laws trying to stop online porn don't even know how to use email.

And I don't get why "porn money" would be against putting it behind a paywall. I would think they would be all for it, like the insurance companies love mandatory auto insurance laws. I often wonder how porn producers make any money at all, with all of the free stuff that's a couple of clicks away. In todays online world, you have to be a special kind of stupid to actually pay for porn.

And I said Big Brother. Not Big Step-Brother.

No. you can't stop all kids from seeing porn. You can sure stop a lot of it though. Porn doesn't have to be readily available on every kid's phone. Claiming that their tech-savvyness is beyond technology is naive. But you have a point about morons in congress.

It's free because it benefits them. They put it behind pay walls and suddenly the viewership goes way down. Put it this way. What would happen to YouTube if it decided to put all its videos behind a pay wall? How does YouTube make money? Granted, I don't think YT makes money on the same scale. I suspect their business model is probably not much different from YouTube's. It's the content that's different.

There are way more examples of these materials in schools. And there are also examples of these teachers bragging about it.

Okay. Let me ask this about a recent example. Should teachers hand out butt plugs to 14 year old girls in class? Is that really the job of educators now? Is that necessary? To inform students about anatomy and STD's, do they need to know how to insert butt plugs? What about teen pregnancy? Some of these teachers are encouraging students to be come sexually active, and then telling them that they can just get an abortion if they get pregnant.

And I get it. There's a line between being overly prudish and progressing past some unnecessary standards. But a problem with too many progressives is that they just can't figure out when they've gone too far. You seem to have two reactions here. One, disbelief that it's even happening, and two, that you think the complaints about pornography are against things like sex education that was taught when you were in school. Two words. Butt plugs! What the **** about teen pregnancy or STDs is that about? It's not about that. It's tearing down social norms about sex. We've already torn down many of those in the free love decade. But progressives just keep tearing down. Is everything progressive good?

Porn may not be the root of all that's evil in this world, and I don't think anyone is saying it's the worst problem out there. But I mean, c'mon. You have to have your head buried in the sand not to know what's happening in schools. it's not every school. But it's a shocking number of schools. And it's some pretty shocking material that they're showing. And at some pretty shocking ages. C'mon, at least be curious about what's happening.

I’m not sure I can explain it on INGO. Which might say something about the proprietary of handing them out in a classroom of 14 year olds.

I don’t quite know what to make of your question though. The name should explain it if you have any imagination at all.

INGO mods. I’m gonna try to do this as pg rated as possible? So cut me some slack here.

As the name suggests it’s a plug. Guess where it goes? And since the subject is explicit sexual content in schools, you might imagine during which acts one might use it. But I suspect you already knew that. If the purpose is still unclear, turn safe search off on google and search it.

Then report back why this is appropriate.

Dont have any, so you don't know either?
“Ask your grandkids” is a joke. It’s quite funny because of the meaning behind it. He’s saying that your grandkids know because they were taught by bat **** crazy activist teachers. It doesn’t matter if you have any grandkids or not because they are not the point. The point is that kids who aren’t of an appropriate age to care about such things, know what it is.
