Yeah, Glock has been pretty bad at "big announcements". If I recall correctly gen 5 and the g43 just kind of leaked and dribbled out.

The hyped announcements where the g42, and glock website nonsense.

Some might disagree but I'd say the S&W shield was the straw that made Glock decide to making the 42 and 43. And of course the 1yM line developed into the Gen 5.

As far as a carbine e that has been such a running joke for so long I'd be surprised if they did it this far into it. but we'll find out in a few days

Bot surenif theb42 in 380 or the Shield came first, They Shield was however before the 43. Then Sig did the 365 and then Glock came with 43X then Sig did then 365XL It goes on and on.

Chicken or egg stuff I guess. Unless the Glock is a Single stack 45 cal or a say 41X with a 4" barrel likenI suggested at my Armorwr rwcert and Glock Operator course I suggested on their form they asked I won't probably get anything. I'm pretty set on the striker stuff.

Got it this morning. I'll be working.

Just going by the picture, I'm guessing it's the start of survival/camping line. Perhaps a kit of sorts. I do hear good things about the Glock knife.
