    In the country, hopefully.
And our state is gonna be building charging stations.. I am confused. The state doesn't build gas stations. Our own state is helping drive these gas prices.
It’s so the people can get to the downtown hotel that the government is also building.
Or to the new business park in Lebanon that the government is building.

Politician supports .gov project that will transfer large quantities of wealth

Politician sees to it that his favored contractor gets some of that cash, perhaps by steering a contract or giving his favored player inside info on the specs the bid is looking for (or both)

Grateful favored contractor returns a portion of the profits on the contract to the politician in the form of campaign contributions, insider trading information, hookers and blow etc

    Lather, rinse, repeat

"This decision by the Biden Administration does an end-around legal requirements and the public process, imposing unwarranted restrictions on U.S. energy production at a time of continued inflation with prices rising at the pump for consumers," said National Ocean Industries Association President Erik Milito.

"The NTL, coupled with the broader Stipulated Stay Agreement, poses a barrier to America's energy production capabilities within a region that not only sustains hundreds of thousands of high-paying jobs but also yields some of the world's least carbon-intensive barrels," Milito continued. "Despite lacking ample scientific evidence to support such extensive bans on operations, the agreement targets the domestic offshore oil and gas industry."

This is not good. Fuel prices are going to go up because of this.
It was a single naptha storage tank that caught fire.
The fire according to reports was contained to that storage tank.

If they stay shut down after that fire is out it will make zero sense.

The fire was contained and none of the actual production plant caught fire.

You will note that the above is one of the only news photo not shot looking through the plant. examples.

Well, at least we are setting record levels of LNG exports to Asia and the EU. Trillions being made thanks to our allies not having a choice and at home NG prices will of course go up(those evil stoves and power plants!). Of course we are conserving gas by not exporting to countries that do not support LGBT,as a matter of national pride I assure you(not to mention there are not enough ships to meet the demand of EU and Japan already)...sorry Egypt you just have to count on China and Russia, like you have been for decades.
