I also have used 1.00 in the past; for gas.You can only use .30 at a time.
Confirmed! I had .60 for April, so I used it to buy 20 gallons at $2.849.I also have used 1.00 in the past; for gas.
During my drive today, lowest prices I’ve seen for gas and diesel was on the south side of Jackson, TN. Gas was $2.95 and diesel was 3.29.
In fairness, 2 stations (one was a Walmart) had fuel at the prices I mentioned. The rest of the 350-something trip, everyone else was higher. Bedford/Mitchell being the high price champions for the day. No doubt the taxes play a role but something more accounts for the $0.70/gallon difference I saw for diesel. Is this all about our currently higher in the country state gas taxes?
We really need to start pressing our legislators and new governor candidates now to get a working narrative about TAX CUTS going into the next election. Gas taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, school taxreferendumsscams.
We used to be a tax friendly state. Not so much anymore.

Do we think gas prices will drop after the Memorial day weekend?
I have 16-18ish gallons to purchase and $.60 in Kroger rewards.
Wholesale is at over $5 right now. Coming to the pump in a big way in another week or so, and no SPR left to fix it.Saw $3.99 for regular today in The Fort.
Thanks Joe. . . ya douche bag.
...or inflate your tires...or get a tune up...or bypass the pumps, get an EV.Wholesale is at over $5 right now. Coming to the pump in a big way in another week or so, and no SPR left to fix it.
Expect the message to pivot to "drive less".
