Oh buddy, ten Pintos in one location? I think we better call the fire department instead of the police! lol.
Got a point there. That could be a "hot" topic. Drum and snare, please.

That's because you were looking for that car.A lot of cars are that way.You don't even notice them if your not looking for them. That is SO true. I did the same thing with a dark blue 1980s Escort. I hadn't seen one in years, and there just happened to be two floating around that day?
LPMan59, have you had some bad run-ins with the police in the past or something? Taking personal property, stuffing the Constitution in the mouth, and stepping on the person with a "Jack" Boot? Like the Nazis used to wear? Most cops I have seen or known are not that bad. JMHO.
Just playing devils advocate here, since I don't completely disagree. But with this example, driving while impaired is in fact a criminal act. But possessing a firearm while impaired isn't. So we're looking at a difference of stopping/preventing a criminal act (Driving while impaired) and committing a criminal act (Criminal Conversion)."Securing" the firearm of an apparently/obviously impaired person is in the same idiom as taking their car keys. You may not have a definitive measurement of impairment, but it's not unreasonable to do this to protect others. You won't let him have a car, which is in fact not specifically intended to do harm to people, why would you let him keep a gun? It's a matter of impairment of his judgment.
I am new to the forum, but not to being an leo. I have been for 25 years. I personally have never had any run in's with a permit holder. Either oc or cc, I just dont see much since in open carry myself. If I'm the bad guy an I walk in to a store and see your gun, you are already at a disadvantage without ever knowing it. Your also the first one I'm going to shoot. It lessens the chance of me getting shot. If your cc you keep an advantage. This is jmho. But i still love my jack boots and slapjack!
I didnt see it covered in this forum
Only about every other thread in Carry Issues...

STALKERS!!!
Just learning from the master.
Well it ain't me! I quit my internet stalking when I deleted my facebook...
But it says so right under your name. BTW my OC/CC shirt got its first hole in it. It got caught between my holster and gun and ripped. I guess that could be the real reason to CC.
STALKERS!!!
Ha yeah, all of my shirts have wear marks from my pistol but only when I CC, OC has been kinder to my clothes.
You can even see the imprint my 1911 leaves in my chair at work
