Made a comment to them that the affidavit for probable cause was sealed. They sort of nodded and kept walking

The only thing is that the Trump camp claims the documents in question were declassified. What does it say in this law about who is tasked with determining when a removal or retention is unauthorized? Was Trump unauthorized and by whom when he removed the documents and possessed them?In 2018 Trump signed the law that made unauthorized removal or retention of federal documents a felony.
Clinton could not be prosecuted under this law because her alleged misdeeds occurred before the law was passed.
Trump should have known this law would be used against him, and he could have declassified the items he wanted to retain, but he chose not to.
This is an unforced error by Trump.
And many theoretically on 'our' side will tirelessly promote the candidacy of people the progressives don't fear and may even welcome
Jeb 2.0
When our enemies (yes, they are the enemies of the people) fear him so much, why would anyone want to run anyone else? Ask Vidkun Quisling
Were they fer it or agin it? If they were fer it, ya coulda sic'd your dog on 'em.Nothing juicy, was just surprised that I heard about it out in public.
I suppose the obvious query about this post of mine is, what exactly are we going to do about it, both short-term and long-term. We have a lot of political avenues to address political grievances, assuming those work. Then, there are the others. As Jefferson said, these ways are solely as a last resort. Violence is an ugly thing, but then again, so is the destruction of this great republic. I intend to get MUCH more involved not only in vetting and championing those with whom I believe best represent the America I feel we should have, but I`m going to get active working with and for these elected employees. We are at war. We`ve been at war for some time. It`s a spiritual war, but it`s also a political one. Good, wholesome, decent people are fighting for their values, ethics and principles, against those who are socialists, globalists, statists, anti-American, godless thugs. The future of this once great Republic hangs in the balance.
I don’t physically attack people with opposing views. I’ll let the left do that. Were they fer it or agin it? If they were fer it, ya coulda sic'd your dog on 'em.
It's cute that you think that's what happened. And then he lost both the electoral college AND the popular vote in an election against an also-ran and a diversity hire.
And also cute that you think this. So, how are you liking your choice's results? Like record inflation? Like recession? (Oh wait, I'm guessing you buy Biden's story that the most accepted definition of a recession isn't really a recession.)Trump’s fans are zealous, but he’s a loser in the eyes of the vast majority of Americans, and more than a few Republicans.
I hope you hang around here, because YOU are great entertainment.Wouldn’t you prefer a candidate that actually wins elections for you?
Trump barely eked out an electoral college win against the least popular democrat in modern times… to which he still lost the popular vote.

Yep. Like I said before. Why would he take classified documents when he had the authority to declassify them? I'm not buying the argument brought forth that he chose not to declassify them before taking possession of them. That dog don't hunt.Trumps lawyers said they were already declassified. Try to keep up and stop gaslighting. This was already brought up.

I guess if it can be proven that he took the documents with the intent to destroy them to cover up a criminal act it could be a problem.
…especially after passage of the 2018 law referenced earlier in this thread. That dog won’t hunt, either.Yep. Like I said before. Yeah just like the FBI and other three letter agencies did'nt go after Trump in 2016 built on lies and false pretense. Your precious FBI have very little credibility when it comes to their unjust persecution of Trump in the past in their own right so you can spare me with that malarky to coin a phrase.Trump has claimed a lot of things that aren’t true.
The results of the search warrant should be verifiable, those items will be entered into evidence and kept for posterity…at least they should be, right?
The FBI doesn’t go after politicians very often, and for good reason: every action will be pulled into the daylight and scrutinized in minutia for years to come following such a move. In order for them to do so they either have solid legal ground, or they think they have impenetrable political cover.
No one on the planet thinks Joe Biden can provide that cover. Not you, not me…certainly not the FBI. Those guys know Biden will throw them under the bus in a second if things go sideways. If they travel this road they do so at their own peril.
That lends credibility to the warrant service, in my view.
I actually laughed out loud when I read this. Yeah, the same kind of credibility those FISA warrants (issued in response to a dossier FBI knew was fake) lent, right? Putting “FBI” and “credible” in the same sentence is a big stretch these days, even for a “lefty”. This is ********, it stinks, and a great many of us have had enough of it.That lends credibility to the warrant service, in my view.
What a ****ing joke.Trump has claimed a lot of things that aren’t true.

You do NOT want to get into a P***ing match about who told the biggest or the most whoppers. I promise you that. I`m not really sure why you`re here... could be a troll...could be a leftist plant...could be even worse. But you`re spitting in the wind here, I guarantee that.Trump has claimed a lot of things that aren’t true.

The Department of Justice is being required to respond to a request by a New York news outlet to make public the warrant that led to the raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate on Monday.
Federal Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart, who reportedly signed the warrant, ordered the justice department to “file a Response to the Motion to Unseal” no later than Monday, according to the Daily Wire.
