Fast Food Joint with Worst Service?

Most of them in Greenwood do a pretty good job, however, once I went to Skyline Chili and they were very slow, order wasn't correct, somewhat rude, food was cold and nasty. Never again.

There's no one "worst".

There's more than one I've eaten at over the years that the service has really gotten worse in the last few years.

a couple of recent examples of patterns over the last year or two,

Wendy's - Have eaten at them since the 1970's.
Over the last year or two at multiple locations,

I order a hamburger I STRESS that I DO NOT WANT CHEESE on it, and they put it on anyway 2/3 of the time.
So i have to have them make it again.

Additionally, I RARELY get my french fries at the same time.
It's always "we'll bring your fries out to you".

So then it's either wait for them, and your burger is cold, or eat your burger when it's hot and then eat french fries later.
NOT a very enjoyable meal.

Steak N Shake - Have eaten there since the 1970's.
Over the last year or two at multiple locations.

I order my meal and tell them I'd like my Milk Shake brought out immediately BEFORE my meal.

For over 30 years, it was NEVER a problem.

Now they promise they'll bring it out immediately, then they blow me off and bring it often times after I've gotten my food.

I've dealt with this by telling them that I don't accept it and to take it off my ticket.

I also adjust the percentage of my tip noticeably downward as a reflection of the bad service.

Steak and Shake, if you order take out. They're pretty much OK if you're eating in, but triple check your order if you get take out.

Definitely Steak and Shake. My order is literally messed up every time I go in the drive-thru. It doesn't seem like location matters, as they all screw up my order.

Double cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard, and fried onions. It's not that difficult!

Also, I've been told that they are hardcore cutting costs, not only at restaurants but also at the corporate headquarters. I have noticed my once decent size serving of fries is now a half order.

Steak and Shake around here is hit or miss. It's as if they have 3 good waitresses, if you don't get one of them you are screwed. I've waited 25 minutes to get a crappy coffee then when they didn't even start cooking our order another 15 mins later I left. Other times you can't get the waitress to quit bringing you fresh drinks.... go figure.

If you are going to go to a skyline chili, go to one in ohio....many times better
