We had a great time, good to see everyone that made it and to @loudgroove and wife for making the drive and the conversation.

As stated Chili's was very accommodating from seating, service and checking on us. Definitely was surprised at how packed they were for the time we got there.

Now we can't wait for the meet and shoot in a few weeks.

It was more crowded than I thought it would be, for 2 pm

Apparently all the restaurants stay busy at off times in Valpo. At least it sure seems like it.

Chilis definitely did much better than Industrial Revolution did back in March. Got there at 1:30 said it'd be about a 40 minute wait. Thought not to bad, only 10 minutes later than the 2pm meet time. They had our table ready at 1:55. Worked out perfect. Those there early sat at the bar till table was ready. More than enough room there. Really couldn't of worked out better in all actuality.

Good to see those in attendance at Chilli's had a good time. At the spaghetti dinner for the Lions Club tonight I saw Ghost of Winter there. Haven't seen him since a Steak Dinner at American Legion Post 485 maybe 2 years ago. He had a long white beard and looked like Santa.
Glad you got to see him. Hoping you both are doing well

After a longer visit at Barns and Nobel after the meet, lol. We made it back home safely. Both of us had a blast talking to all you. I just wished we could have spent more time,. Great conversations with great people. We are looking forward to spending more time with our new friends on the west side of the state. Will the pics that were taken be posted soon? Thanks to all of you.

My wife works in Valparaiso. Occasionally she and her co-workers go out for a drink and dinner after work. She says downtown restaurants are always busy. Doesn't matter what day of week it is either. I guess that's a good thing for business.

I've only been to Valparaiso a few times at various times of the week and day. South Bend and Mishawaka are less busy than what I've seen, despite being a larger urban area. I'd guess it's because Valparaiso is one of the crossroads between the Chicago suburbs and the rest of Indiana. Kind of like how the main road in LaPorte is always busy because it's the halfway point between Valpo and South Bend.

There. Unbeknownst to everyone, while their attention was on me taking their picture, my evil twin phased in from another time during another Meet n' Shoot. Although he said nothing and didn't stay long, the message was clear. No where, but more importantly, no time was safe.
    Nice job Zurok.
We will save that for our files.
From a former joke on the introduction thread. :laugh6:
A nice couple up front there.
