It's both amusing and pathetic to see how they are emboldened when they are in a big group. The hive gives them a false sense of security to act in ways they would never consider were they alone. It's interesting when individuals approach them and they try to act hard with their friends backing them, but you can almost see them shaking with fear. The anger they express is the kind of nervous anger born of fear, which is a probably a big reason why they project weakness so strongly.
At some point, the true predators are going to start culling their herds and it's not going to be pleasant. Good reason to stay away.
