Heh, maybe you need to spend a little time around podunk departments. One of my buddies carries his cuffs securely tucked under his belly and another, well...I'll just say they're tainted. Not much you can do when the entire department has to share a uniform.

Actually, a cookout would be HILARIOUS... especially if it was a "douchebag OC" style cookout... I can see it now, about a dozen marked and unmarked LEO cars, and the majority of us OCing with ARs on our backs as well.

You might also consider setting up some surveillance cameras even you own video camera will do. But Fry's has a fairly inexpensive set up this may help Law Enforcement resolve your problem
