Alright, now that I have my technique down, these Feathers are the clear winner for favorite blade. I'm going ahead and ordering a 100pk.

Outside of shaving after I shower, I don't prep in the slightest, I've never gotten so much as a nick from a feather. I use a Merkur SV-05X with the Green Proraso, get a nice smooth shave every time and about 6 shaves per blade. Cleared up the dry skin on my face too, I'm going to blame that on the canned shaving gels. I have no intention of ever going back.

Replied.... I doubt I will like it very much as I have been shaving in the shower w/ just bar soap for most of my entire life.... Seems like it will be to much work to shave at the sink.

Once you get the feel for it you won't need to be over the sink. Get the proper angle and technique down first then you will be fine in the shower. Try tons of different blades, they all shave slightly differently.
