Got home about 30 min ago. After lunch, went and visited a friend, then checked out Highsmith in Greenfield ($549 for a plain jane Mosin 91/30???) and headed home.

Had some Eley Club match and my replacement scope from Athlon waiting for me.

Athlon warranty was excellent. Shipped Monday, they received Wed and got a brand new replacement today.

Generally (*if it can be found*) it should be high 6's to 750-ish

I would've definitely snagged it then, no doubt.

We got back home around 6:00 from UJ's. We enjoyed good food with great company. The Mrs was all ears listening to Mouse stories and had a good time as well. It's always great to meet members and put a face to the avatars. Really wish more of you could have make it. I'll be looking forward to the next time.

I remembered that it was over $850. MSRP is $829 and as mentioned, pre-corona they sold for much less. A quick check found 2 online for $780. Not many available.

+Yup, that's the base price (only includes action and barrel).... you'll have to add another $300 for bipod, and stock.

...Second, I am really glad that I have a mud colored truck. The dirt road into and out of HHRP is covered with pea soup consistency mud that got all over my truck but you have to look hard to see that it’s dirty.

And now you know why I don't bother to wash my truck in the winter and spring.

I don't wash it in the summer either but that's because I'm lazy.
