    Oh jeez.

The annual cleanup is going to suck. Cleaning debris from the neighbors' fireworks from my gutters, driveway, yard is gonna suck extra special this year. Maybe I'll luck out and there will be a strong wind blowing it back in their yard.

    They don't clean it up?

I always clean up their yard that night and in the morning after.

Get get a decent amount of fireworks, and usually the neighbors watch from their own driveways while I destroy mine.

Duh... but it's not really due to cvirus fears per say.
It's more logistics. It takes months to plan, coordinate, etc.. given all the shutdowns that have occurred no way you can get everyone back up and running fast enough by the time the fair is here. Thus easier to cancel then try and push back or even attempt to do it when it normally occurs.

Wait...did the State Dept. of Health...or the Governor's Office...of the State Fair people organize the riots or have some ability to prevent them?

    I'm confused.

This is kinda like saying that a car accident must have been determined to be safe because it happened.

Dont overthink it. Im just saying this stuff is a little nutty.

Frankly, notwithstanding the thousands of visitors from all over the state that occupy the fairgrounds shoulder-to-shoulder, think about the carnies that are operating all the rides/games/food stands.

I'm sure they're all fine people, but they also spend the summer traveling in close proximity to their co-workers and thousands of other fairgoers across the midwest. A superspreader among them could become a super-duper spreader.

We should see for sure in a couple weeks here right?

If the rioters have a noted upswing in positive covid testing then that should be our indicator, correct?

No. He is not. Vast difference throughout this thing, especially when it came time to open.

We really need to keep a list of republicans than INGO has declared RINOs or actual democrats.

I'm having trouble keeping track of them.

Maybe a sticky thread at the top of the General Political Discussion forum?:dunno:
