    .

Classic example of "always follow the money" which is really what climate change is about. Bill Gates can buy whatever "science" and "facts" fit what interests him at the moment. Big media will fawn over this info when much of it is just conjured up to fit some rich guy's whim.

A long time ago I was told Power X perception= Fact.;)

I guess Billion Dollar Bill didn’t go to school where he would have learned that trees and other plants suck up the CO2 he so fears and converts it into oxygen? So destroying all those trees would do what?

It's been awhile but If I remember correctly, I remember looking at the numbers several years ago and by the time the solar panels start reaching their rated life span, it's about when the payback period ends. Convenient.
Panel efficiency has been steadily increasing over the years. When calculating payoff, are sure to include the 30% discount where they give you back your own money.

Like I said, it’s been awhile. It could have been with the tax credits it pays back before the rated EOL. Maybe by a fair bit. The larger point is if these things were a slam dunk good idea, you wouldn’t need the government subsidizing them. But they are, along with twisting your arm into buying them by making the grid more and more unreliable and electricity increasingly expensive. Right now they are operating in both the ‘nudge’ and ‘shove’ stages of political force.

I was leaving the politics aside because it sounded like at one time you considered doing it and thought it might be worth a second look for you. I guess I missed that you were making a larger point.

They are also asking for a 68% increase in funding due to "supply chains and labor cost"
And, they always fail to realize, that actions have reactions.
Oh, let's do this, not thinking that will affect anything else.
Oh, let's tax this, not thinking that will affect anything else.
Oh, let's ban this, not .....

I’m not opposed to solar panels. If they made financial sense I would have covered my acreage in them. Maybe it’s time to revisit.
