People do not understand that AC is what keeps millions of people alive today, folks that could not have survived 150 years ago. The business foundation of southern cities of today is AC? You cannot live and work in Atlanta in the summer heat without AC.First is global warming....then they are going to reduce AC?
They want us dead!

It didn't make sense to me, either. I tried to work on my DDG-fu, and all I could find to explain the huge drain on aquifers was that water was needed during the construction of the solar boondoggles, but not on-going.Why do these solar systems need continuous water supply? Seems like poor engineering to me.
They need to be sprayed with water to keep them clean in the dusty environment, and most methods that use less water also scratch the panels reducing their effectiveness. At least that is my understanding at this particular instillation. It didn't make sense to me, either. "Then the coal company came with the world's largest shovelProgress!
Man, you sure do know your classic rockers."Then the coal company came with the world's largest shovel

Well, they dug for their coal till the land was forsaken
Then they wrote it all down as the progress of man."

I think @indiucky has family down there."Daddy won't you take me back to Muhlenberg county,
Down by the Green river where paradise lay?
Well I'm sorry my son, you're too late in asking
Mr Peabody's coal train has hauled it away"
