    Find a red 1959 Sport Fury hardtop, Big, bold, and Big engine with factory dual four barrels. If you get one, come give me a ride, I'll even pay the gas. (and it will use a lot of it)

    OK, you don't like flashy, they could be ordered in white or tan if that is your taste, I still want a ride!
    If you can find one. They rusted out badly and people just did not save them.

    Dad had a 38...plain Jane...one of the few he talked about.
    I had a 50 business coupe. 1st car I owned. Maybe 13. Guy across the street had it. It would not run. Paid $15 for it. Pushed it across the street and I started working on it. A couple of friends and I cut our teeth on that old flathead.
    Got it running. Full tune up and had a friends dad help rebuild the carb. It ran pretty good.
    Until we pitched a rod off doing hole shots back in the neighborhood while the parents were at work. Old Ford was not up for that. Scraped the car.
    Well Dad did when he came home and me and the car was not there.
